Vitaminwater Refresh Tropical Mango

Yesterday I reviewed one of the two new Vitaminwater flavors that were introduced by The Coca-Cola Company called Vitaminwater Vital-t and the taste wasn’t bad at all. As for the Refresh Tropical Mango, it sounded familiar because three years ago right before the summer they introduced Coco-Refresh and it’s mixed with pineapple. Also, it used 10% real coconut water, but not for this Refresh Tropical Mango. The ingredients looked pretty much the same for both flavors.

Vitaminwater Refresh Tropical MangoThere’s a refreshing mango aroma coming out from the bottle after you open it and it smelled similar to the mango flavored drink from Snapple. However, the color of this drink looked almost the same as the Snapple kiwi strawberry drink. The first sip tasted lightly sweetened and not much of fruit flavors to taste. After couple more sips, I still couldn’t detect the mango flavor from the drink except some subtle hints of fruit tastes. As the aftertaste started to add up, you could sense that it tasted like mangosteen with other unknown fruits. In terms of “Refresh”, it was pleasant, smooth and easy to drink, let’s put it that way. If you compare it to their own Coco-Refresh with this Refresh, the Coco-Refresh has a clean taste to it throughout the tasting process even though both of them tasted light.
