V8 Infused Water Cucumber Lime

I just got this drink from Target since it’s another hot day and I thought a water drink will cool me down or stay hydrated. On the label of this infused water stated that it contains 25% juice with 1 serving of vegetables. There are no artificial colors, flavors or preservatives, no artificial sweeteners and no added sugar. Also, the 2010 dietary guidelines for Americans recommend 2 ½ cups of a variety of vegetables and 2 cups of fruit per day for a 2,000 calories diet.

V8 infused water cucumber limeThere’s a very light cucumber aroma coming out from the bottle after you open it. If you look closely at the water color, it’s not exactly the tap water color you see instead it’s a light greenish color. The first sip tasted light with subtle tart taste at the end after you swallow down the sip. After couple more sips, you could sense there’s a mixture of flavors in this water drink but it’s difficult to tell which one is which. I would just leave it to “natural flavors” based on their ingredients list. The only standout flavor was the cucumber but not so convincing due to the lightness of the taste. The drink did taste like a water drink because of the clean and smooth taste. The only difference comparing to yourself made infused water was the aftertaste because this infused water left you with a dry feeling in your mouth after you had finished the whole drink.
