Starbucks Cotton Candy Frappuccino Blended Beverage

Starbucks just introduced six new Frappuccino flavors to their Frappuccino fans to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the blended beverage couple days ago. The new flavors are: Cotton Candy Frappuccino, Red Velvet Cake Frappuccino, Lemon Bar Frappuccino, Cinnamon Roll Frappuccino, Cupcake Frappuccino and Caramel Coca Cluster Frappuccino. Why did I choose Cotton Candy instead of the others? Well, I just love Cotton Candy and hope this drink will ease my craving for cotton candy a bit.

Starbucks Cotton Candy FrappuccinoJust let you know that this is a coffee free beverage and it’s blended with vanilla bean, raspberry syrup, whole milk, Ice and topped with whipped cream. The very first sip tasted light sweet with subtle hint of raspberry flavor and after couple more sips it kind of tasted like water down creamy raspberry pie. As I kept on sipping it, you could sense the sweetness of the drink did not add up and the flavor wasn’t heavy either. Also, you could see many small black dots in the drink and don’t freak out because I would guess that those are the vanilla bean fragments. After finishing this Frappuccino, the aftertaste wasn’t bad at all because there weren’t any heavy tastes left in the mouth and it could taste like cotton candy if there’s no crème on top. Ugh I feel like Starbucks beverages just keep getting sweeter and sweeter. I wish they’d step up the quality instead.
