Sangaria Getting Cool Strawberry Soda Drink

Now, if you like Ramune and other Japanese drinks, you might want to consider trying this soda too. The Japanese soda is often categorized as like American soft drinks, but with a little bit less sugar and usually it’s just enough for a so called better taste. I’ve never tried any Japanese soft drinks before and I’m not a big fan either. However, I saw this attractive bottle designed strawberry soda drink from a newly opened Target store and I thought I should give it a try.

Sangaria Strawberry Soda

Upon busting the lead cap, there’s a warm strawberry aroma coming out from the attractive pink caned bottle. The color of the soda is in light orange and the carbonation seems to be a lot less than the American soda drinks. Wonder why they make the liquid color in light orange? The first couple sips tasted like strawberry flavored candy with subtle crème taste. However, as you drink more and more, the strawberry flavor kind of taken over by the sweet taste in this soda drink and the flavor wasn’t as appealing as in the beginning either. It’s almost certain that the strawberry flavor is not natural because it tasted like those powder drinks and the effect of HFS just makes it worse. The aftertaste is same as other regular soda drinks.

Strawberry Soda

The ingredients for this Strawberry Soda are very simple. It has filtered carbonated water, High Fructose Syrup, Citric Acid, Flavor, and Carmine. The nutritional facts about this 16.2 fl OZ size drink: 100 calories, 26g of sugars, 22mg Sodium, 26g Carbs and 0g protein.

I did not finish the whole bottle because of the fake flavor. Do not get deceived by the design of the bottle, but if you are into strawberry flavor, then you should give it a try to see if it fits your taste.
