New Mio FIT Berry Blast Liquid Water Enhancer
What’s new in sports drink industry? Well, Kraft Foods, the company that makes Mio liquid Water Enhancer recently introduced a new product line called Mio FIT and the flavors come with electrolytes and B vitamins. I guess Kraft Foods think you should be tired of drinking Gatorade or Powerade by now and it’s time to try something else. For now, the Mio FIT comes with two flavors: Arctic Grape and Berry Blast. I’ve reviewed every single Mio flavors that are out there in the market and personally I like the orange flavor so far in terms of the taste. Since I could only find the Mio FIT Berry Blast, I will review the Artic Grape next time.
The moment you lift up the cap, there’s a strong Raspberry like aroma coming out from the bottle. The color of the liquid is same as the color of the left side of the letter M on the bottle after you squeeze it into the water. As for the taste, the first sip tasted lightly berry flavor. After couple more sips, you could sense a subtle tart taste after you swallow down the sip. Since I couldn’t taste the true berry flavor, I had to squeeze it couple more times into the water. The berry flavor becomes more recognizable after added few squeezes and it tasted like Raspberry has been soaked in the Asian dried plum water. There’s a combination of sweet, sour and salty flavors mixed together taste. The aftertaste wasn’t that bad either.
The ingredients for this New Mio Fit Berry Blast Liquid Water Enhancer include: Water, Citric Acid, Salt, Propylene Glycol, Potassium Phosphate, Malic Acid, Contains less than 2% of Niacinamide, Vitamin B6, Natural Flavor, Sucralose and Acesulfame Potassium (Sweeteners), Potassium Citrate, Blue 1, and Potassium Sorbate (oreservative).
Overall, the taste was pretty good, but I’m not sure everyone will replace their regular sports drink after or during work outs. How many Mio FITs do you have to buy to serve your whole basketball, football or any sports team?
