Mountain Dew Dewshine Made With Real Sugar

Not long ago, Mountain Dew released their newest drink called Dewshine and it’s labeled as a Non-Alcoholic drink. If you know the brand then you know Mtn Dew doesn’t make alcohol drinks. The question becomes why would they put a label like that on the longneck bottle? I guess they made the presentation of the drink looks similar to craft beers so that it will attract more young people to drink it. This clear citrus Dew is made with real sugar and finally I got some Mountain Dew Dewshines to try out.

Mountain Dew DewshineRight after you pop it open, there’s really nothing you could smell immediately but if you put your nose right against the bottle opening, you could sense the subtle lemon aroma coming out from the bottle. As for the taste, you couldn’t really tell the first taste because it was so light compare to the regular Mountain Dew made with real sugar, but after couple more sips it tasted close to Sprite drinks. As you drink more, the sweet taste started to add up and you will notice that there’s a subtle bitter taste after you swallow down the sip. The drink was clear, smooth and pleasant to drink. There wasn’t any heavy aftertaste left in the mouth after finishing the whole bottle.
