Mountain Dew Coolatta Dunkin Donuts

Dunkin Donuts new Mountain Dew coolatta! Summer is around the corner and Dunkin Donuts is adding a new flavor to their Coolatta drink line. This time it’s the Mountain Dew Coolatta and I’ve no idea why they choose Mountain Dew instead of other flavors. Anyway, I bought a medium size Mountain Dew Coolatta and I hope it has a good taste. Before, I’ve tried their Watermelon Coolatta and Blue Raspberry Coolatta and it was some what disappointing.

The color of this Mountain Dew Coolatta was close to yellow and it’s much like the regular mountain dew drinks that you usually drink or similar to the lemon flavored Gatorade. The texture was close to Seven Eleven’s Slurpee but looked a bit more watery at the bottom of the plastic cup. If you look at it again, it’s almost like half frozen. The aroma coming out from the plastic cup was very light and it’s hardly to recognize the mountain dew scent if you didn’t sniff it around the opening for couple seconds. The first couple sips tasted watery since I sip it all the way from the bottom and the Mountain Dew taste was light as well. It’s totally different that the regular mountain dew that you drink from can. This mountain dew Coolatta tasted flat. Also, it’s not that sweet at all compares to the regular mountain dew. After couple more sips, the taste seems to be more sugary. The aftertaste is just feeling dryness in the mouth.

Overall, I like this Mountain Dew Coolatta better than their both Blue Raspberry Coolatta and Watermelon Coolatta. If you are craving for Mountain Dew, then you should try it. I think they should come out with a coke Coolatta because everyone seems to like coke better than other flavors.
