Monster Energy Ultra Sunrise Drink

1

Just recently Monster Energy added another flavor to their Ultra Energy drinks line called Ultra Sunrise and currently people are getting it from Wal-Mart stores so far. I have been reviewing every Ultra flavors: Monster Energy Zero Ultra, Monster Energy Ultra Blue, Monster Energy Ultra Red, and Monster Energy Ultra Black. By far, this can has the best design. In the back of the can, it says, “Get up, get out, go for it! Ultra Sunrise is dedicated to those who sacrifice sleep for passion: catching waves at dawn patrol, up on the bike when the morning dew gives the dirt more grip, or the first pass on that glassy lake kicking off an epic wake session.”

Monster Energy Ultra Sunrise DrinkThe aroma coming out from the can was strong and refreshing. It smelled close to orange juice that you get from your local supermarket. The color of the drink looked lighter than the regular orange juice without the pulp and obviously the texture was different because of the carbonation and it’s not a juice drink. As for the taste, the first sip tasted like watery orange juice with carbonation in it. After couple sips, it has this strong citrusy taste to it. If you remove the carbonation and caffeine, I think it tastes just like the regular orange juice drinks especially if you drink it from a cup or a bowl. It tasted very orangey after couple more sips. If you stop sipping it after finishing half of the can for a minute, then go back again, you could really taste the orange flavor in your mouth. As for the caffeine, it didn’t kick it that fast. The aftertaste wasn’t so bad at all.

I love this drink. I only drink half and store the other half in an airtight container for another day. I love that this is sugar free and using natural plant sugar substitutes. I also love the burst of B vitamins
