Monster Energy Ultra Red Drink

I’ve tried Monster Energy Zero Ultra, Monster Energy Ultra Blue and now the Monster Energy Ultra Red. Zero(White), Blue, Red?  On the can it says, “Change can be a good thing when you make the most of it… like those endless summers working mindless jobs. They pay just enough to survive (party), but somehow you save enough for that last road trip before starting “real life.” Sweet, Sweet, Summer time, summer time.”

Monster Energy Ultra Red

There’s a refreshing raspberry like aroma coming out from the can after you open it and the aroma smelled similar to the Monster Energy Ultra Blue drink. As for the color, it’s more or less close to pink color than the color of the can. Also, the pattern on the can looked different than the other two Monster Energy Ultra drinks. The very first sip tasted light watery with subtle sour fruity hint. The “Energy” started to kick in after couple sips which to me it’s pretty fast.  As you drink more, the so call fruity taste started to taste like a diet fruit punch drink with subtle “berry” hints.  The sweet taste was light in the beginning and hard to recognize the actual sweetness but after couple sips, it seems the sweetness was not naturally from the fruity taste. As for the after taste, there’s none because the taste did not stick around after you swallow down the sip. It felt like the taste’s purpose was to give you the energy and done with it.
