McDonalds New McCafe Caramel Mocha
New Caramel Mocha from McDonald! The commercial for their New Caramel Mocha is every where. Not only it’s in English language but also in other foreign languages as well. I thought I should give it a try since they are making everyone to try it. According to McDonalds, “winter’s not so bad. Especially with new McCafe Caramel Mocha- a rich, sweet, creamy indulgence to help take the chill off winter. And who knows, that warm fuzzy feeling might just make you want to share with a friend. After all, it is the season of giving.”
There’s a strong sweet caramel mocha aroma coming out from the cup with a subtle coffee scent when you lift up the opener. The caramel mocha is topped with whipped cream with caramel drizzle and the color of the mocha is brown. As for the texture, it looked very smooth with a thin oily layer on the surface. The first couple sips tasted amazing and it was just right in terms of the taste. There’s nothing to complain about in the beginning. The taste wasn’t too sweet and the flavor wasn’t strong as well compares to Starbucks caramel mocha. The chocolate flavor was recognizable too and the coffee flavor seems to blend with other flavors pretty well. As you drink more, the caramel taste got sweeter and it just took over other flavors. Even though, the coffee flavor was still there, but the sweetness just kind of making it a little bit unpleasant to drink. Also, after your mouth processed certain amount of your sips over period of time, it kind of left you with a thin layer of coffee remains in your throat. The aftertaste was all about the sweetness and the dryness in your mouth.
