Lipton Brisk Orangeade Juice Drink
Drink Brisk! I love those short videos featuring famous artists drinking Brisk. The other day, while I was looking for sugar free orangeade, I found orangeade juice drink instead and it even took me a long time to find this non-sugar free orangeade juice drink. I thought I should give the non-sugar free a try first so that I could compare it next time when I get the sugar free orangeade. I had other Brisk flavors before in the past, but not the orangeade.
The artwork on the bottle label is just amazing, wonderful and marvelous based on the usage of color combinations and characters. It seems the giant monster and the flowers need Brisk to bring back their liveliness and vigor back. By the way, the artist is Colletivo. Anyway, upon busting the 2 liter bottle cap, there’s a lightly sweetened orange aroma coming out from the bottle and its freshness is close to those Tropicana orange juices that you buy from your local supermarket. The color of this Brisk Orangeade juice drink is in some what between the mixture of orange and yellow. As for the texture, it does contain carbonation and it’s in a some what dense level. Also, the surface is clean and smooth, just like other beverage drinks. The first couple sips taste sweet with subtle orange flavor. The carbonation didn’t help much since it was very low and didn’t felt it was a soda or juice drink. It’s more like the combination of juice and soda drink. As you drink more, the sweet taste gets stronger and it pills up very fast in your mouth if you chuck it down the speed of a jet. If you drink it sip by sip, then I think the taste is more enjoyable and it’s not that bad at all. Since it only contains 1% of juice with low carbonation, the orange flavor still wasn’t that real. As for the aftertaste, the dryness tends to linger a bit in your mouth.
The ingredients for this Lipton Brisk Orangeade Juice Drink includes: Treated Water, High Fructose Corn Syrup (HFCS), Citric Acid, Orange Juice Concentrate, Sodium Hexametaphosphate (To Protect Flavor), Modified Food Starch, Potassium Benzoate (Preserves Freshenss), Natural Flavor, Sodium Citrate, Potassium Sorbate (Preserves Freshness), Glycerol Ester of Rosin, Calcium Disodium Edta (To Protect Flavor), Yellow 5, Red 40. The calorie for this 2 liter bottle is 100 and contains 1% juice with 65mg of sodium. Also, it contains 27g of sugar.
Overall, the drink itself wasn’t bad at all and for me it’s just a little bit too sweet. I think i will stick to other Brisk flavors for now until i found some other new tasting flavors from Brisk. If you haven’t try this Orangeade yet, you should give it a try. I can’t wait to try out their sugar free orangeade.
