Knockout Energy Drinks

Knockout Energy Original

There’s a light citrus kind of aroma coming out from the can after you open it. The texture comes clean and the color of the liquid looked like your regular normal beer that you drink every day.  As for the taste, the first sip tasted a bit combination of sweet and sour. After couple sips, you could already feel the “energy” started to show up in your system. As you drink more, there’s a citrus flavor that you could recognize in the taste and somehow the taste gets sweeter after few more sips. I guess it’s the aftertaste had built up in your mouth. Also, there’s a light oily layer in the taste and comparing to other energy drinks that are out there, this one appears to be stronger than the other in terms of the flavor.

Upon opening the can, there’s a light fruit punch sort of aroma coming out from the can. The color of the texture of this energy looked like powder fruit punch drink or similar to Gatorade fruit punch drinks. The first sip tasted sour and ended with subtle tart taste after you swallow it down. After couple more sips, the sweet tasted started to show up and I’m really showed up because it’s sweeter than your normal energy drinks. Also, the dryness feeling in the mouth started to creep up as well.  The aftertaste was a bit uncomfortable.

The fruity aroma coming out from this can smelled very pleasant and refreshing. The texture and the color were similar to the Knockout Energy Original but lighter. The first sip tasted by far the most pleasant taste comparing the above flavors. It tasted light and my reaction was that it had something to do with coconut mixed with other fruits.  As you drink more, this sound maybe me crazy but I thought it tasted similar to pina colada. After chugging down half of the can, you still want to drink more non-stop whereas the previous flavors, you had to take a break and kept it going. There’s a subtle tart taste at the end after you swallow down the sip and the after taste was much better than the above flavors.

Low Carb Knockout Energy Original and Low Carb Knockout Energy Punch

Both flavors had this so called diet taste to it and it did taste better than their originals if you are not into sweet taste or strong flavors.  Not only did the taste was lighter, but so was the aroma coming out from the can. First couple sips tasted a lot pleasant and easier to drink. The aftertaste wasn’t as strong as the non-diet version of it. However for Punch, the flavor was inconvincible in the beginning, but eventually the flavor showed up after couple sips.
