Honest Ade Zero Calorie Classic Lemonade

11

Classic Lemonade! Organic Thirst Quencher! The other day, I received couple samples for tasting from Honest Tea along with their CocoaNova and Heavenly Lemon Tulsi drinks. For now I will be reviewing this Honest Ade and rest will be up shortly. This Classic Lemonade is one of their two newly Zero Calorie drinks besides Zero Calorie Passion Fruit Green Tea. On the bottle it prints,” Our classic lemonade has a refreshingly modern twist. Instead of sugar, we use organic Stevia, a leafy plant that provides natural zero-calorie sweetness. For a refreshing drink you are sure to remember just open the bottle”

Honest Ade Zero Calorie Classic Lemonade

I like the idea of using a lemon as a wheel for the bike because it’s pretty creative. Two thumbs up for the label design on this classic lemonade drink. The moment you bust open the bottle cap after being chilled for an hour or so, there’s a refreshing lemonade aroma coming out from the bottle that’s just like the fresh lemonade you make at home. The color of this Honest ADE was also close to home made lemonade. The texture however was a bit different and this one was more smooth, clean and cloudy. As for the taste, the first couple sips tasted really good because it wasn’t overly sweet or sour and it had the true essence of lemonade taste. When your mouth processes the sip, first you sense the lemonade flavor with subtle lightly sweet taste and ends with subtle tart taste after you swallow it down. As you drink more, you could tell the tastes were very well balanced within each other. It was very pleasant to drink during the whole processing of tasting. There’s no aftertaste for this drink.

Overall, I love the taste of this classic lemonade and if you happen to see one in a store, you should grab one and try it.  Also, it matches pretty well if you are eating dumplings. Next up review would be the Honest CocoaNova. By the way, thanks for sending the samples, Honest Tea.

I was very disapointed with the taste of the Honest Ade. I bought 2 of them at the Cub Foods in my area and I couldn’t drink it. Bad flavor.

    I agree!
It was horrible. I took a sip and wanted to spit it out. I didn’t even give it a second try.

Wow! This was the WORST tasting drink I ever had. It was over in one sip. It taste NOTHING like lemon. I past it to my mother, and got the same reaction. I tried saving the drink by squeezing a lemon from my tree in it. It did not work! I usally don’t look up products I don’t like. But this drink is horrible.

I was looking for a lemonade with reduced or no sugar and no
sucralose, aspartame, nutrasweet or any of the other poisons out there. I tried this product and I liked it. I am diabetic and
liked the fact they use organic stevia. It’s not your typical
commercial lemonade. And I am trying to buy more of it. It was
disappointing to see such negative comments about it. But I suggest if you want something different — give it a try.

I was excited to have a refreshing lemon/lime thirst quencher – however when I tasted this drink it had a strange flavor. Tasted like the cinnimin pretzle store, (may the floor) which I normally associate with a good flavor, but not in a lemonade. I didn’t see that cinnamon was listed, however it could be “natural flavors”. very strange flavor which I really tried to like, and very much did not. I won’t be a fan or ever try it again. I choked down half and couldn’t continue. Sorry Honest ade.

“No aftertaste”? Are you kidding? This was the worst stuff I’ve ever had. I don’t know whether it was the Stevia or what, but the most I could force down was about 25% of the bottle, and that was with really trying. The rest I threw out. The aftertaste was obvious and awful.

It was the worst tasting drink I ever had. I couldn’t even drink haf of the bottle. If I had a blindfold on I would not be able to tell it was lemonade. It also had an awful after taste. I would not get it again.
