For a limited time around the holidays only! Finally found this soda drink in Target and triple checked if it was the right one before I bought it. There was only couple of them left. Boy was I lucky! “Taste the excitement of the cranberry craze with diet Sierra Mist Cranberry Splash. It is a lemon-lime soda drink with a festive, naturally flavored cranberry splash, it has no calories, and caffeine free,” according to PepsiCo.

I think the design for Cranberry Splash is more attractive than the design on the Sierra Mist Natural based on use of colors. There’s a heavy refreshing cranberry aroma coming out from the 2 liter bottle when you bust the cap wide open. As you pour out the drink, there are a lot of bubbles appearing in the cup because of the heavy carbonation in the drink, but not as much comparing to other major brand soda drinks. The first couple sips tasted like it wasn’t a diet drinks at all and you could actually sense the cranberry flavor in the soda. The sweetness wasn’t heavy as well and the lemon-lime flavor was non-exist. The drink itself was very easy to drink, smooth and crisp. As you drink more, the so called diet feeling starts to show up in your mouth, but it’s still better than most diet soda drinks. Even though it says sugar free on the bottle, but you could still taste the sweetness from the sips. The aftertaste wasn’t that awful either.

I like this Cranberry Splash better than the other Sierra Mist Natural Lemon-Lime flavor because of the flavor. I really like the new look because it’s very attractive and the taste backs up with it too. For those who like soda drinks, you’ve got to try this one. It should be on your list even though it might be consider a healthy drink.
