Cheribundi Skinny Cherry Tart Cherry Juice Drink
Skinny Cherry from Cheribundi! I found this juice drink in a Whole Food Market store and according to Cheribundi, “Sometimes it takes regular people to stumble upon a really good thing. That’s how cheribundi was created: snacking on Montmorency tart cherries eased a regular person’s back pain. This anecdotal cure was researched by food scientists at Cornell University who not only uncovered the benefits of tart cherries, but also developed a proprietary juicing process so all the cherry-goodness and nutrients could be delivered in a great tasting juice.” Currently, they have Tru Cherry, Skinny Cherry, and Whey Cherry flavors available in the market.
Upon opening this little cute bottle, there was a refreshing cherry aroma coming out from the bottle and it was a little bit lightly sweetened. The color of this Cheribundi juice drink was similar to ruby red or blood and the texture was similar to juice drinks that you made at home except a lot smoother. I love the scent! As for the taste, my reaction to the first sip taste was “WoW”. It was really sour. However, after couple sips and your tongue got used to the taste, it was not a bad taste at all. When your mouth processes your sip, the tart taste hits your tongue first and then ends with a subtle sweet taste after you swallow it down. In the beginning the cherry flavor was difficult to recognize, but as you drink more the cherry flavor starts to pill up and it was pretty pleasant. Also, it wasn’t that sour after you finish half bottle and it was a good combination for the taste. There’s no aftertaste for this Cheribundi juice drink.
The ingredients for this Cheribundi Tart Cherry Juice Drink include: Tart Cherry Juice, Water, REB A (Natural Stevia Leaf Sweetener). It contains 90 calorie for an 8 fl oz size bottle with 260mg of Potassium. Also, it contains 65% juice. Before you drink it, shake it like you mean it!
Overall, I didn’t like it in the beginning, but the taste got better after chucking down half bottle of it. Since they have three flavors so far, I will be hunting for the other two flavors. If you like cherry juice drinks, try to find it and then try it.

I am in Singapore and have had much difficulty getting cherry juice. There is one supplier who is rather “out of the way” and what’s worse is that their operating hours are somewhat inconvenient, from 9am to 2pm on weekdays!!
If Cheribundi or anyone reading this have a list of retailers in Singapore I will be grateful if you drop me a line here or on twitter. Cheerio!

I just tasted the juice and loved it, so I purchased a four pack from Whole Food’s Market in New York( 25th Street).
Once I arrived to my office and further investigated the product, I realized that there are three types of the juice. The sales person, did not reveal this and led my to beieve I was purchasing a 100% juice product and I had actually purchased the drink. I think the product is excellent, however the packaging should be clearer, as it all looks the same. So… I have to make another trip to the store and exchange the drink for a 100% juice. I am willing to exchange it because it’s so worth it.

Looks like that sales person needs to be replaced by someone else who actually cares about customers.
