Belvoir Fruit Farms Elderflower and Rose Lemonade

Gently bubbling with real elderflowers and Rose Extract!  I found this drink in a local bodega and it’s made by Belvoir Fruit Farms from UK.  If it’s made in UK, then how did it get here? Well, it’s imported by a company called Brands Within Reach. Their goal is to support differentiated brands that contribute to healthy living and Belvoir Fruit Farms mission is to make the besting tasting soft drinks using real fresh fruits and freshly-picked elderflowers.  Sounds like a match? Now the question is what would be a good food choice to go with this Rose Lemonade drink?

Belvoir Fruit Farms Elderflower drink

There’s a lightly sweetened refreshing aroma coming out from the bottle with hints of flower like scent. It smelled as if you were about to drink a rose tea beverage if you sniff around the bottle opening long enough.  After you pour it out, it looked like a champagne drink due to the amount of carbonation in the drink.  The first sip tasted light with subtle sour taste at the end after you swallow it down. After couple more sips, the sour taste started to add up and subtle hint of sweet tasted started to show up as well. As for the lemonade, it was difficult to recognize in the beginning but you could sense it after sipping down half of the drink.  As for the aftertaste, nothing was left except this refreshing floral taste.
