2016 Mtn Dew Game Fuel Mango Heat Flavor
In the past two years Mountain Dew Game Fuel has been promoting Call of Duty releases but this year they switched for a different game called Titanfall2 even though its’ still an FPS game. There are two flavors for this year’s Game Fuel: Mango Heat and Citrus Cherry. Mango Heat is the new flavor for the Game Fuel product line. As usual, there’s code that you could get rewards in the game from the bottle cap.
There was a refreshing mango aroma came out from the bottle after you twisted open. The color of the drink looked same as other mango or orange flavored beverage drinks. There’s quite a bit of carbonation from the drink as usual. As for the first sip, you greeted by this sweet fruity taste first and then ended with this subtle tart taste. After couple more sips you could sense the Mango flavor in the taste but it wasn’t that natural based on my taste and it was more like Mango flavored candy type kind of flavor. It wasn’t too artificial either. Also, people said that it was supposed to be spicy like when you were drinking Chia Tea but not to that degree. I guess that’s what the Heat part of the name represents. The spicy part started to be noticeable after I had finished half of the bottle and it’s not even a factor when comes to deciding whether you should keep drinking it or not. The aftertaste wasn’t bad at all with mango flavor lingering around in your mouth.
